Hey there!
My name is Erica, and I’m a Pittsburgh-based photographer, videographer, and graphic designer. I’ve been creating for as long as I can remember, starting with home movies made with my sister and friends, and later discovering my love for video production after swapping a biology class for Intro to Communications in high school.
That path led me to study advertising at Penn State, where I focused on the creative side of the business. I developed my graphic design skills using Adobe software and joined CommAgency, a student-run video production group creating projects for real clients across campus.
After graduating, I worked on an in-house marketing team, designing print and digital materials and producing video content for YouTube and social media. This role helped me learn how to balance creativity with real-world goals, while also wearing many creative hats.
My passion for photography came a bit later, and from an unexpected place. During Covid, I fell down the anime rabbit hole, which led to cosplaying, anime conventions, and eventually photographing cosplays for myself and my friends. I quickly discovered how much I loved bringing fantasy to life through my lens, blending photography with creative editing and special effects.
Today, I specialize in cosplay and fantasy photography while also offering traditional sessions like engagements, graduations, and portraits, as well as weddings. With experience in photography, video, and graphic design, I’m a bit of a jack-of-all trades, ready to bring any creative vision to life!
